Water Color in Theory

Before heading home from work i decided to stop by a local art shop and pick up a few things. A warrior of  high caliber must always be prepared. Any ways, In all my years of drawing i never really expanded into water color. I guess my ignorance and stubbornest kept me at bay. I hate doing things i might possibly fail at. But failure is always the beginning of success. So i decided to suck it up and try new things.

Not bad for a first shot at water color!  To be honest i had my doubts. I’m not really into the whole painting game. But i truly enjoyed this. It was so unpredictable. Each stroke and line had its own flavor and effect. You can even mix it up a bit with alcohol and other types of oils to get a different texture. More pieces coming soon!

U.A Talks “Never Falling”

I got to sit down with Don Bruce from ON THE COME UP mag.

He actually heard about the blog and wanted to see what The U.A is all about.

Heres a copy of what was featured on the mag.

I understand you released this just as a hint of the breeze yet to come?

“yeah i actually felt like a nice little simple track would do justice as to the vibe The U.A is trying to bring. I could have released a 3 min song rhyming my balls off and still not get a point across you know?”

definitely. So is this more of the Far beyond mind-set as to what we’ll see on the mix tape?

“Yes and no. i actually did this as an intro to the cool vibes im bringing to the table. next track i release will probably be a little more old school and hip hoppy’. With my music i want to give out plenty of genres for people to zone out to.

Nice man nice. I like to see you know where you’re heading with this. Most guys coming into the game don’t know what there trying to accomplish. So at the end of the day whats next for The u.a?

“At the end of the day? Good music haha. Never Falling will forever be a sample. I think there ready for some real stuff now. I’ll be releasing two tracks next week titled “The Reel” and “Moonlight Freestyle”

The second track will have a written hook but more of a freestyle spin on the lyrics. Going to be hot.

Alright cool man. Cant wait for the mix tape…and this is dropping July?

AIMING FOR THE REEL..

Life is so far beyond what we know. Living in the basic will no longer cut it any more.

I been going through a lot lately wich is the reason my post have been slow. Also the studio is getting re-done so laying down the tracks have been to a halt. I’m itching to finish this mix up though. Still aiming for July. Posting a snippet of a track im working on with low key titled THE REEL. Basicly an art piece projected through music and life its self. we could be so faulty when we’re not aiming for the reel. stay tunedddd.

BACK ON THE BLOG GAME!

YO! sorry about the wait. Been reealll busy! up to my neck in studio time trying to kick out this mix tape, not to mention open mics and shows down town.

Had an interview with atm records this evening. I’ll be posting that up monday.

And i got mad love to my man low key for putting this mix tape together for me. And putting the name out.

The past weeks just been in the studio dropping tracks and feeding on ramen cups and rhymes! on that grind son.

What it’s all about. making real music. real life. real art.

True hip hop never dies but we tend to injure it pretty bad.

Workin on that supersonic flow!

 

Mix tape is about 30 percent done.

The reason being is just plain time and the strive for quality music.

Every track on this is tailor made to the up most funky and vivid sound.
